Lowestoft: Three people arrested and charged in conenction with a robbery

Police in Lowestoft have arrested and charged three people in connection with a robbery at a bookmakers in the town.

The incident happened on London Road North, Lowestoft at 8.25pm on Wednesday.

Kelly Payne, 38, from Thurston Road, Lowestoft has been charged with robbery, grievous bodily harm and threatening a person with a blade in a public place.

Sonia O’Gara, 39, from Chapel Street, Lowestoft has been charged with robbery and theft from person, and Roger O’Gara, 67, also from Chapel Street, has been charged with assisting an offender.

All three are currently remanded in custody at the Gt Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre and will appear before Lowestoft Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
