A motorist had a lucky escape when his car went off the road and collided with a tree.
The accident happened at the crossroads near St John the Baptist Church in Farnham Road, Snape, around 3.50pm today.
The fire service was called because it was believed someone was trapped but when police and the ambulance service arrived at the scene the crews were stood down.
A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said the accident involved one vehicle and it was not believed that anyone was seriously hurt.
