M25: Delays as resurfacing work takes place on M25 near Essex after fire

Motorists travelling on the M25 near Essex this morning faced major delays as work took place to resurface part of the road which was damaged after a lorry fire.

The incident happened near the junction for the M11 yesterday evening.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area with a diversion route being put in place.
