Maison Bleue restaurant in Bury St Edmunds scoops another accolade

The Maison Bleue restaurant, in Churchgate Street, Bury St Edmunds, has scooped another top accolade.

For it is named in the Tatler Restaurant Guide 2018 “Best of British”, alongside acclaimed Michelin restaurants.

The guide features the very best of just 30 restaurants across the UK.

Jeremy Wayne Tatler, restaurant editor said of Maison Bleue: “You know you’re onto a winner when the front-of-house team are as delightful as the food, which, as it happens, rivals London’s best.”

Restaurateurs Pascal and Karine Canevet are delighted to be featured for a second year.

“The Tatler Restaurant Guide focuses on quality and we’re very proud to fly the flag for East Anglia,” said Karine.

During the awards evening, held at The Savoy Ballroom, in London, Pascal enjoyed sharing celebrations with Claude Bosi, Bibendum in London, and Pierre Koffmann, La Tante Claire in London, two of a handful of chefs in the United Kingdom to have been awarded the coveted two and three Michelin stars.

“I feel very honored to be included for another year. It takes a lot of dedication and creativity to consistently achieve at this level,” said Pascal.

It’s been quite a year for the Maison Bleue celebrating its continued inclusion in the Michelin Guide and gaining three notable awards; including the acclaimed Worldwide Luxury Restaurant Award, together with constantly gaining 5-star TripAdvisor ratings for their culinary excellence and memorable experiences with outstanding service, based on customer reviews.
