A man was robbed of his wallet, keys and mobile phone as he walked home from a night out in Clacton.
A 26-year-old man from Clacton was attacked in Rush Green Road opposite the junction of Stanley Road at 12.15am yesterday.
The victim was pushed to the floor and punched in the right eye before his belongings were stolen from his pockets, police said.
The two offenders are both described as white men, about 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build, dressed in a navy tracksuit with a hooded top.
Both men ran off in the direction of Tyler Avenue.
