A 19-year-old man has today been accused of killing a popular teenager in a crash near Eye last year.
Danny Lupson, 18, of Mellis, died after the car in which he was a back-seat passenger was in collision with a tree and overturned at Yaxley.
Mark Greggs, of Yaxley Road, Mellis, was charged today with causing death by dangerous driving following the incident on the Old Ipswich Road in the early hours of Friday, September 19.
Greggs was also charged with driving while disqualified and drink-driving.
He is due to appear at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates' Court on March 31.
