A man and a woman arrested in connection to the death of a three-year-old girl in Gorleston have been released from custody.

Ava-May Littleboy, from Somersham near Ipswich, died after being thrown from an inflatable trampoline on the Lower Esplanade on Sunday, July 1.

The pair were arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and questioned by detectives.

According to a spokesman for Norfolk Constabulary the man and woman, both in their 40s and from the Great Yarmouth area, have now been released from custody.

The pair remain under investigation while the police enquiry continues.
