A CYCLIST was seriously injured today after colliding with a lorry on the B1113 at Claydon.
Police have confirmed that a 40-year-old Lithuanian man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and is currently in custody.
The crash happened just before 7am on the roundabout at the top of the A14 slip-road to Bramford.
The male cyclist, thought to be aged 49, suffered broken bones and serious injuries including suspected broken ribs and was taken by ambulance to Ipswich Hospital.
Police remained at the scene of the accident investigating the cause. The road was closed but reopened at around 10.45am.
