A MAN has been arrested this morning following a complaint by a 13-year-old girl.
Police have cordoned off an area of a park in Congreve Road, Ipswich, after they received a call at 4.20am. An 18-year-old man has been arrested following the allegation of sexual assault.
A police spokesman said: “We received a call just after 4.20am this morning to reports of an incident involving a 13-year-old girl. As a result, an 18-year-old man was arrested and is currently in custody at Ipswich police station. The girl is being interviewed this morning and enquiries are continuing to determine what has happened.”
