Parts of the playing field next to Rowley Drive, Newmarket, which were cordoned off after a reported sexual assault.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of rape following an incident in Newmarket on Sunday morning.
The Cambridgeshire man, 18, was arrested late last night and is currently being questioned by detectives in Bury St Edmunds.
Police officers were approached by a woman shortly before 2.15am on Sunday by a woman who said she had been sexually assaulted on the playing fields in Rowley Drive.
