A MAN was arrested last night on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following an incident in a Suffolk village.
Police and paramedics were called to St Andrews Place in Melton, near Woodbridge, at about 7.30pm.
Police confirmed that one man had been injured and that an arrest had been made.
The ambulance service said a 40-year-old had been taken to Ipswich Hospital with facial and abdominal injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening.
It is believed the incident was domestic-related.
