Man assaulted after coming to the aid of cyclist in Colchester

A man was assaulted in Colchester after trying to help a fellow cyclist who had fallen off his bike.
Police have now spoken to man they released a photo of in a bid to find in connection with the assault which happened in Mill Road Colchester at around 8am on Wednesday October 26.
A police spokesman said: “A man came to the aid of a fellow cyclist who had fallen off his bike only to be assaulted and struck with the suspect’s bike.”
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Dex Adams at Colchester police station on 101.
