Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in an attemped robbery in Clacton on Friday, November 14.
A man in his 30s on a bicycle was accosted by a group of four men near Wyndham Cresecent at around 10pm on Friday, and suffered a cut to his arm, and punches to his back and face after one of the men assaulted him with a knife.
Police are looking for the main suspect, a man around six foot tall, in his late teens or early 20s with blonde hair, and was wearing a dark beanie hat with grey Adidas tracksuit.
The victim believes the group were trying to steal his bike, and later attended hospital to treat his arm wound.
Police are looking for information from anyone at Clacton Lesiure Centre or on the playing fields near Wyndham Crescent that evening who may have seen the group.
