A man was left unconscious with injuries to his eye and jaw after being assaulted by two suspects in the centre of Ipswich.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 30s was assaulted in the town.
The incident happened on Tower Street at 10.45pm on Wednesday, July 11.
The victim was assaulted by two suspects who knocked him unconscious, causing swelling to his left eye and a possible cracked or fractured jaw that required hospital treatment.
The two suspects are described as two white males – one wearing a light top, dark trousers and light shoes, and the other wearing a light top and dark shorts.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has knowledge of it should contact Ipswich CID on 101 quoting crime reference 37/38649/18.
