A 24-year-old man has been charged following a series of incidents in Braintree over Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Adam Watts of Temple Lane, Silver End, will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today, Monday, December 31.

Watts has been charged with burglary, attempted burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, fraud by false representation and possession of cannabis.

It follows the arrest of a man in Arnhem Grove, Braintree, on Saturday, December 29.

Police have released under investigation a 29-year-old man who they arrested on December 28, on suspicion of burglary and drugs offences.
