The male rider was taken to Ipswich Hospital following a collision with a lorry at the junction with Paper Mill Lane yesterday.
Gintautas Stunzenas, 40, of Lithuania has been remanded in police custody and is due to appear before South East Suffolk Magistrates this morning.
