Police charge man after disturbance.
A man has been charged with three offences after a fire in Haverhill.
Pawel Rozanski of The Keep, Haverhill, was been charged with arson with intent/being reckless as to whether life was endangered, assault by beating, and threatening a person with a blade in a public place.
It follows an incident in The Keep just before 6.30pm on Monday when police were called to reports of a man behaving in a threatening manner.
The fire brigade was also called by police at 7.25am to extinguish a blaze at the property.
Rozanski, 38, is due to appear at Bury St Edmunds’ Magistrates’ Court this morning.
