A 23-year-old man has been charged following a robbery at a convenience store in Lowestoft on Wednesday.
Jack Burrows of Stoven Close, Lowestoft, was charged with robbery and possession of a bladed weapon in a public place.
Police were called at just after 10pm on Wednesday, March 21 to reports of a man with a knife threatening staff at a SK News store on Oxford Road.
A shop worker and members of the public bravely restrained the man while they waited for police to arrive.
He was then arrested by police on suspicion of robbery and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for interviewing.
Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
Burrows is due to appear before Norwich Magistrates today, Friday, March 23.
