A MAN has been charged by police in connection with a crash which led to the death of a 68-year-old pedestrian.
The collision happened on Wednesday, June 24, in Station Road, Clacton, and resulted in the death of Doris Cornwall who died the following day at Queen's Hospital in Romford.
The 47-year-old man from Clacton has been charged with causing death by careless driving and has been released on police bail to appear before magistrates in Colchester on December 10.
