A MAN has been charged over a crash on the A12 which killed five people, including three teenage girls.Ben Morphey, of High Street, Yoxford, has been charged with five counts of causing death by dangerous driving following the collision at Blythburgh at about 12.

Ben Morphey, of High Street, Yoxford, has been charged with five counts of causing death by dangerous driving following the collision at Blythburgh at about 12.50am on July 1.

A Renault Laguna was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Astra containing five teenagers.

Carla Took, 18, and her friend Claire Stoddart, 18, both students at Benjamin Britten High School in Lowestoft, were killed in the collision, along with Claire's 15-year-old sister Jennifer Stoddart. All three were travelling in the Astra.

Simon Bonner, 40, and 41-year-old Kim Abbott, who were travelling in the Laguna, also died following the collision.
