A MAN has been charged with the rape of a teenager in an alleyway in Colchester town centre.
The 18-year-old reported to police that she had been attacked in the early hours of June 15 in William's Walk, off East Stockwell Street.
Essex Police said today that a 21-year-old man had been charged with rape and released on conditional bail to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on October 23.
