A man was hit by a train near Thetford this afternoon.
A BTP spokesman said: “We were called to the line close to Two Mile Bottom in Thetford at 12.38pm on Thursday, 3 March following reports of a person being struck by a train.
Rapid response vehicles from the East of England Ambulance Service were also in attendance, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and officers are now working to identify him and inform his family,” the spokesman added.
“A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
