A young motorist yesterday sustained head injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Ipswich.
The collision, involving a Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Bora, took place on Ashcroft Road by the Norwich Road junction at around 4.20pm.
A Suffolk police spokeswoman said one of the motorists, who is believed to be in his late-teens to early 20s, had to climb out of his car window.
He was last night in the care of the ambulance service with suspected head injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.
