A 70-year-old man had to be rescued from a ship after he suffered a stroke.Thames Coastguard received a request from the passenger ship Crown Princess, which was situated about 30 miles off the coast of Felixstowe, for the medical evacuation of a man on board at about 3.50pm.
A 70-year-old man had to be rescued from a ship after he suffered a stroke.
Thames Coastguard received a request from the passenger ship Crown Princess, which was situated about 30 miles off the coast of Felixstowe, for the medical evacuation of a man on board at about 3.50pm yesterday.
The rescue helicopter from RAF Wattisham airlifted the patient, his wife and one of the ship's nurses to Ipswich Hospital.
