POLICE are trying to trace a man who followed two teenage girls in Felixstowe.
The girls – aged 16 and 17 – were cycling along Maidstone Road around 2am today when they saw a man in the road who started talking to them, asking where he could buy cigarettes and alcohol.
The girls continued on their way but then stopped and looked back to see the man was only a short distance away from them – making it appear as though he had chased after them.
He then asked the girls where they lived. They cycled away, leaving the man shouting at them.
The man’s behaviour made them feel uneasy and police need to trace him.
Officers said the man was of Asian appearance, aged in his 20s, with short dark hair and wearing a red and black check shirt with dark jeans.
The man, or anyone who knows him, is asked to call Felixstowe police on 01473 613500.
