A MAN has been taken to hospital this afternoon after collapsing in the middle of an Ipswich street.
Emergency services were called to Star Lane at around 2.20pm after reports of a male lying in the middle of the road.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said when paramedics arrived they discovered a 50-year-old man unconscious.
She said: “He was later conscious and breathing before we took him to Ipswich Hospital. There are no details about his condition and what caused him to collapse.”
