A judge has ordered a psychiatric report to be prepared on a man who had an extreme pornographic image on his phone.

Before Ipswich Crown Court today (Thursday) was Owen Green who admitted possessing an extreme pornographic image, breaching a suspended sentence order and failing to notify his public protection officer when he moved from one address to another in Ipswich.

Michael Crimp, prosecuting, said that in the early hours of May 29 Green had made an emergency call to police and claimed he was standing in a street in Hadleigh.

When a police officer arrived Green said he’d “done bad things” and handed the officer his mobile phone which contained an extreme pornographic image involving a dog.

Mr Crimp said Green had also breached a suspended sentence order imposed in May last year on four occasions.

The court heard that Green, 26, of no fixed address, was due to be transferred to a psychiatric clinic next week from Norwich prison, where he is currently being held.

The case was adjourned for a psychiatric report to be prepared on Green.
