A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and criminal damage following an incident in St John’s Street, Bury St Edmunds, last month.
On Monday, December 28, a 23-year-old man sustained a serious injury to his wrist that required surgery after going through a shop window during an altercation in St John’s Street at around 12.30am.
Police issued CCTV images of a man they wanted to speak to yesterday and a man handed himself into Bury Police Station last night.
The 24-year-old was arrested and bailed until March 16 to allow further enquiries to be carried out.
Any witnesses to the incident should call PC Shelley Starling on 101 and quoting crime number 37/23218/15.
