A 40-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital with injuries after a crash near Butley today.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the single-vehicle accident between Orford Street and The Street at 7.30am.
Firefighters from Woodbridge, Orford and Princes Street in Ipswich helped to release the man from the red Peugeot 406, which is believed to have ploughed into a tree.
A ten-year-old child also in the car was checked over by an ambulance crew at the scene but did not sustain any injuries.
The man was taken to Ipswich Hospital suffering from leg and pelvic injuries and a cut to the head.
The road was closed briefly while the vehicle was recovered.
