Man in his 80s suffers leg fracture, serious head injury and cracked ribs after collision in Ipswich

Suffolk police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision yesterday in Ipswich left a man in hospital with multiple injuries.
The incident took place at around 2.40pm on Felixstowe Road near the junction with Murray Road.
A blue Ford KA car travelling out of town was involved in a collision with a pedestrian.
The victim, a man in his 80s from the Ipswich area, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital having sustained a leg fracture, cracked ribs and a serious head injury.
Police say that he remains in a stable condition in hospital at this time.
Witnesses or anyone who may have any dash-cam footage are asked to call PC Milton in the Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference CAD 256 of 16 July.
