Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious collision on the A140 at Thrandeston in the early hours of Saturday.
Officers were called around 12.15am on following the incident between a pedestrian – a 27-year-old man – and a Volkswagen Up.
The man was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital with two broken legs but was transferred to Addenbrookes a short time later.
He is described as being in a serious but stable condition.
Anyone who saw the incident or anyone who may have seen the young man in the area prior to this to call the serious collision investigation team at Suffolk police on 101, quoting CAD 7 of July 11.
