A 37-year-old man from Felixstowe will appear before magistrates today following a disturbance at his home.
Police were called to Manwick Road between 9.30am and 10.30am yesterday after neighbours reported hearing sounds of crashing and breaking.
Philip Harper was given first aid by a neighbour, who is also a paramedic, before being detained by police.
Harper, of Manwick Road, has been charged with one count of affray and one of criminal damage.
He was held in custody overnight pending his appearance before South-East Magistrates’ Court in Ipswich this morning.
