A MAN has been arrested after cannabis plants were found growing in the loft of a Lowestoft property.
The drug was found at a property in Normanston Drive today, after the Waveney Territorial Support Team carried out a warrant at around 7.25am. The team discovered the plants and growing equipment.
The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of the drug and is currently in custody at Lowestoft Police Station where he will be interviewed by officers.
The warrant was part of ongoing work by Suffolk Police to target those suspected of involvement in the cultivation and supply of illegal drugs.
