Two men are wanted by police after a man aged 82 was found with serious injuries in Frinton.
The victim suffered serious facial injuries in what is believed to have been an assault.
He was found in Elm Tree Avenue shortly after 7am on Sunday, and has been taken to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
Police are searching for two men in connection with the attack.
One of the men was white, aged between 30-40, wearing waterproof trousers and a yellow coat. He had a white beard and was possibly carrying a pizza.
No description has been issued yet for the second man.
