A 21-year-old Chelmsford man was arrested on Thursday, August 23, on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, committing a public order offence and animal cruelty.

The man is currently in custody having been arrested following a domestic incident which happened in Bellmead Park, Chelmsford, on the same day just after 7pm.

Officers investigating the matter are appealing for any witnesses to contact PC Edward Bishop at Chelmsford Police Station on 101 quoting reference 42/122316/18.

Today we can finally reveal the names of the people selected to be on our first ever Inspiring Women of Suffolk list.
