TRIMLEY: The death of an elderly man after a road accident last week has been attributed to natural causes.
The result of the post mortem examination of the 83-year-old from Capel St Mary was revealed today.
The man was in a single-vehicle accident on the A14 on April 1.
It happened on the eastbound carriageway close to the Trimley villages at 9.45am.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police confirmed at the time he was driving a green Ford Fiesta and died at the scene of the crash after his car apparently came off the road and crashed into a ditch.
