A young rider from Beccles who died at the scene of a crash at Woodbridge Motocross Club yesterday has been named as Tom Pattison, who wore number 183.
Mr Pattison, who was in his 20s , was competing when he came off his bike, just before 1pm.
He was competing in the penultimate round of the Eastern Centre Motocross Championship, hosted by Woodbridge Motocross Club (Woodbridge DMCC). The event was contested by nearly 160 riders over 12 races.
Police yesterday said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident and that a file would be prepared for the coroner.
