A man has been released on police bail after an alleged sex assault in Colchester.
A teenage girl was attacked in Lexden Road just before 1am on Tuesday.
A man, 47, was arrested on Christmas Eve and questioned in relation to the incident.
He has now been released on bail until January 5 pending further enquiries.
