A boy has been arrested following the incident
Two people were arrested on suspicion of theft after a handbag was taken from a McDonald’s store on Monday, May 4, in Braintree, Essex.
A 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, both from Braintree, voluntarily attended a police station, where they were subsequently arrested.
Following interviews by officers, the man was released without charge.
The woman has been released on police bail while enquiries are ongoing, to return on Monday, July 6.
