Firefighters had to rescue a man stuck in marshland earlier today.
It happened near a track off Sandy Lane in Leiston. Ambulance crews and the fire service were sent to the scene.
The casualty was on the river bank some distance from hard standing. Crews used the mudpath, basket stretcher, a tractor and other equipment supplied by the HART (hazardous area response team) to rescue the him 3.55pm.
