An investigation has been launched after a man’s body was found in a Colchester car park this morning.
Police have closed St Mary’s car park on Balkerne Hill following the discovery of the body around 8.55am.
Officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances and the cause of death.
People parked in the car park will not be able to access their vehicles for some time while early investigations are carried out by police.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Essex Police on 101, quoting incident 224 of 23/04.
