POLICE are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in an Essex seaside resort.

POLICE are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in an Essex seaside resort.
The 41-year-old from East London received serious wounds to his hand, neck and shoulder while in Vicarage Lane, Walton, shortly after 12am on Sunday.
It is believed he may have been involved in an altercation in Saville Street earlier on Saturday night.
The man was taken to Colchester General Hospital where he is now in a stable condition.
A 23-year-old Walton man was arrested and released on police bail until April 29.
