A MAN has been shot after disturbing intruders on his land.
The 52-year-old suffered minor injuries in the shooting after he heard a noise near outbuildings on his land just after midnight and confronted two men, one of whom discharged a firearm.
Police in Cambridge are appealing for witnesses to the aggravated burglary on the A10, Ely Road, in Waterbeach this morning
The two men, who were wearing dark clothing, escaped towards the A10 where a white van was waiting for them and headed towards Cambridge.
