A MAN received hospital treatment after being slashed across the face as he walked home from a pub in Ipswich early today.Police were called to the junction of London Road and Victoria Street at shortly after midnight following reports of a man suffering a possible knife injury.
A MAN received hospital treatment after being slashed across the face as he walked home from a pub in Ipswich early today.
Police were called to the junction of London Road and Victoria Street at shortly after midnight following reports of a man suffering a possible knife injury.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a 40-year-old man had been attacked by two other men while walking home from a pub.
“He was slashed across the face but his injuries are not life-threatening,” the spokesman said.
The man was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.
