Police are appealing for information after a robbery at knife-point in Chelmsford yesterday evening.

A man went into the TN News store in Baddow Road armed with a knife at around 9.45pm on Tuesday, April 3.

He demanded money and cigarettes and left with cigarettes and a three-figure sum of cash.

He has been described as dressed all in black and around 5ft 9ins tall.

Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.
