A MAN was taken to hospital this evening after he threatened to throw himself off a bridge.
A MAN was taken to hospital this evening after he threatened to throw himself off a bridge.
Police and paramedics were called to the bridge on Princes Street, Ipswich, at about 6.20pm.
The man, in his early 20s, was threatening to jump off the bridge but was apprehended by officers and taken to the town's St Clements Hospital.
The incident was over at 6.45pm.
