FIREFIGHTERS have been working to free a man who became trapped when his car overturned on a rural road this evening, ending up on its roof.
A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after suffering injuries when her car overturned on a rural country road.
The accident happened on the B1116 between Dennington and Laxfield at about 7pm and the woman's car was the only vehicle involved.
Fire crews from Stradbroke, Debenham and Saxmundham were sent to the scene and used cutting equipment to free the woman.
She was taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance suffering from cuts and bruises, and emergency services stayed at the scene for more than an hour as the road was cleared.
