MANCHESTER United star Cristiano Ronaldo has escaped uninjured after his Ferrari hit a roadside barrier.
The 23-year-old's sports car crashed in a tunnel near Manchester Airport at about 10.20am this morning.
The Portuguese star was able to get out of the vehicle himself and spoke to police at the scene.
Reports suggest that his car was written off in the accident.
The crash caps a bad few hours for the mercurial winger, who was part of the United side which surprisingly lost 1-0 at Championship strugglers Derby County in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final last night.
