A 22-year-old man from Colchester, who also frequents Ipswich, is wanted by police.
Officers from Essex Police say they are keen to talk to Sheldon Mackay, 22, in connection with a witness intimidation investigation in the county.
Essex Police issued the appeal to find Mackay yesterday, on Monday, October 15 both on their Twitter page and on their website.
Mackay is 5ft 10ins and is of mixed-race, with black hair and dark eyes and with a dark beard.
Detectives say Mackay is also known by the alias of Sheldon Fletcher.
He is known to visit Ipswich town centre, particularly the Monkwick and Highwoods areas of the town. but also has contacts in Colchester.
Anyone with information is asked to call Colchester police on 101.
