A DOUBLE-decker bus has struck a bridge in Manningtree.
A spokeswoman for Network Rail said the incident took place in Station Road, Manningtree, at 9.15am.
Engineers are due to arrive at the scene soon to assess any damage.
The first train to go over the bridge following the collision had to travel at five mph, while subsequent trains are travelling past the scene at 20mph.
It is not yet known whether anyone was injures in the incident.
